She loves …

               her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild,

                               Sao Paulo,

                                                 volley ball games,

soap operas on Globo,

                                                       mistery books,

                                                                               crossword puzzles, movies,

                        Chopin, and piano,

rice and bean meals, milk with coffee, ricotta cheese, mangoes,

                                                               Estadao newspaper,

                  Christmas markets,

                                       lunches with the family,

                                                    Campos do Jordao,

antiques, … and the list could go on and on…

She has always a sweet smile. She is always optimist. She prays.

Mum? How are you?

I am fine! And you? Still at work?

Nope! I am visiting a park in Santee. It is very beautiful and calm and there are many birds singing and flying around.

I came to the park today because we had some rain yesterday. I like to come on the day after. Everything is a little bit greener.

There is a cool breeze, but no rain today. As you know, we are having a severe drought in California.
